I have a two year old who's a special needs child and started a preschool program at a local public school. He has to bring a lunch and notebook for his physical therapist to write notes. It took me a while to find a backpack that was just the right size. The regular ones were just too big, they were almost as big as my son! The preschool ones didn't properly fit a notebook, they were just too small. I could barely squeeze a lunch in. I'm so happy to have found this Jr Bookpack at LL Bean! It fits everything perfectly and he can use it in the coming years for school.
I bought this bag for my daughter for one of her back packs for back to school. I usually buy 2 for each school year. It is made really well and the color is bright and cheerful. I ordered it in aqua. It's made very durable. I would highly recommend this back pack for the price.
We really liked this backpack and added the monogramming which was perfect. The only thing that I would like to mention is that the straps that appear to be gray online are actually a greenish color. We ordered the pink backpack so I'm not sure if others are the same way. They're not bad but definitally not gray like I was expecting.
I bought this backpack for my son when he was two. He used it to bring his stuff to friends houses, to go camping and just for fun. He is now four and is using it for his second year of preschool and it is still in perfect condition! It is the perfect size for a preschooler, big enough to hold what they need yet not too big on their little backs. HIGHLY recommend this product!
