My little one just started kindergarten, and this backpack in pink-- complete with her name embroidered on it-- helped her gear up toward the move from daycare to elementary school. She LOVES her school bag; I'm not totally sold on it because the light pink seems to be a bit translucent. I'm sure the fabric is strong and all that, but because of the light color I know how many books she has in her bag, for example. I wish the pink was darker, or more dense.
I just found out that my sons original jr backpack is 4 years old. He has been in preschool for the past 3 years, this backpack has been dragged down the hall, kicked across the parking lot, and thrown across the playground and its still like new. I have purchased 10 ll bean back packs for my kids as they have grown, we love them, and if my middle schooler can't destroy them, nobody can!
ProsDurable, Great Value, Performing as Expected, used as a diaperbag
I purchased and have been using this bag for a diaper bag for about a year. LOVE IT. It is easy to carry, has just enough space for what we need, but not too much so that stuff gets lost. the additional front pockets are handy. It's DURABLE, and the print is adorable. The zippers work effortlessly and the straps are comfortable. I haven't thrown the bag in the washer, so I don't know how well it washes up like that, but given it's durability in my large family...I'm guessing it will be fine. Love the embroidery on it as well. I purchased the shark print bag, and the print is adorable. I am quite sure that with the durability thus far, this bag will be going off to school with my little one, which makes it a GREAT value for the money.
