We purchased this JR book pack in pink for our 3.5 year old for preschool. After seeing how well brothers held up last year. It is the perfect size for her. It is big enough for what she needs, glad we didn't go with this size for our kindergartener! It will fit a full size folder if needed. Her throw blanket does fill the bag. The only complaint I have is it is very light pink, almost see through.....She is very happy to have a bag like brother! We also bought the matching lunch boxes.
Both of my girls got these as they started preschool and used them until 2nd grade when they finally just had to graduate to a larger bag. (Which I'm ordering now) But neither of the packs were worn out. They've both been handed down to other kiddos. That's LL Bean. You get tired of it before it wears out!! Buy this one!
I had such a hard time finding a backpack for my daughter to use in 3K. This is a perfect size for my, on the shorter side, 3 1/2 year old. I also love that it has reflector material on it. The only change I would make is being able to choose thread color. I paid for monogramming and yet it isn't that visible. Regardless it looks great and she was so excited when it arrived.
I like this backpack but i like it in lie green a lot better and would prefer that to this color. I think ll bean should start selling the lime green back packs again.
