It lasted for a entire school year and zipper broke. I called and they are giving me a new one. You can't beat their customer service or guarantee. My grandson has went through book bags in 3 months and nobody guarantees them, and I payed more for them.
My son has used this backpack for three years. It survived two years of preschool, kindergarten, and summer camps. It's been thrown on the floor, stuffed full, dragged all over the place, and still looks great. It's definitely a tough backpack! The junior size was perfect for him. The amount of space and pockets held everything he needed. The only reason we are getting a new one is because he needs a bigger size and wants a different color for first grade. We couldn't be more pleased with how this one held up!
I bought my first back pack for my oldest grandson to start kindergarten. I bought it on sale and early and monogramed, so I had it for several months before giving to him. Unfortunately the main zipper broke the first day of school! I was so worried that too much time had gone by and I would be out the money and he wouldn't have his backpack (which he loves# I called customer service and within in 3 days #over a weekend) he had a new monogramed backpack!! NO COST TO ME!! He only missed using it ONE day! I am here on the site to order another backpack for the next grandson to start school. I will always shop here for quality and service and recommend to anyone.
I ordered the beach rose Junior backpack for my 2 1/2 year old to use as a diaper bag and as a pre-school/kinder bag when she gets older. The sizing is great-not too small like the PBK pre-school backpack, but not too large to make it too heavy and awkward for a young child. As always, the quality of the backpack is solid. Very well constructed. Monogram turned out well, although the threading on one of the initials seems like it'll start to fray sooner than later. The biggest problem with this item is the lack of water bottle holder on the outside of the backpack. Also, a minor problem is that the fabric sometimes gets caught in the zipper.
