Prosnot durable, not for daily use, disappointing, but looks nice
I am disappointed in this bag because it is already showing quite a bit of wear and tear after just 2 years. It was mainly carried from the house to the car to the school and back, almost never taken outside or left in dirt. Yet it already needs to be replaced. I have had backpacks that were taken in unimaginable conditions over 20 years and look better... Another problem is that it doesn't hold much: binders and duotangs won't fit. Not great for a school bag...
I bought this for my little man when he turned 2. We have had it about a year now and it still looks new. We use it to carry a juice cup, toys, and extra clothes "just incase" :) it is very roomy. I think we will be using it for many more years.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Performing as Expected, will outwear cheap packs, worth the investment
Just wanted to let you know I bought my daughter's pack when she started kindergarten. She is now starting 6th grade and her pack is still fully functional and looks great!
My other daughter had an issue with the loop at the top of the pack when it was a year old and LL bean replaced it with a new pack immediately...no questions asked. She has had her new pack now for 3 years....still going strong!
Packs at the store range from $12-$35. Spend the extra $5-$10 dollars and forget having to replace it every year.
