Bought this for my 2 yr old when she started "school." Great bag for back and forth to school and for when we go out to restaurants. Also, bought the matching lunch bag for when they have "picnic" days.
Bought this in carnation/lime fish for our new grand daughter, all of 6 weeks old! Mom and Dad can use it as a travel diaper/snack/toy/necessity bag. Bought the matching lunch tote too. Planning on filling it with baby toys, sippy cups, etc as a Christmas gift. It is absolutely precious and added her name monogrammed as well. Love it!
We bought this bag for my son to take to daycare instead of a diaper bag. Even before he turned 2 he was able to carry it so that he felt like a big kid. The bag is small enough for a kid to carry, but still has enough room to hold what is needed for a day at daycare or a day trip. We added the monogram which my son really likes now that he is learning his letters.
My 5 year old wanted this backpack because of the fish print. I thought it might be a bit too small, but she was set on the fish print. The backpack is durable and the size is great for her smaller body size. But it is too small to hold her school things. She had a hard time getting just a folder and lunch bag (her lunch bag is small, and not square shaped) into the backpack. Things like a spare set of pants/t-shirt do not fit well in the outer pocket. I figured we would try it for a few days because she did adore the backpack and then her teacher told me that the backpack was too small. Also, the monogramming does not show up in the default color that was used. I did not see that you could select the color of the monogramming. This would be an excellent backpack for pre-schoolers or for using for play or short trips. I wish the larger backpacks were available in the cute prints!
