ProsDurable, Great Value, Performing as Expected, withstands 5 yr old boys
I purchased this pack for my son, who is a very rough and tumble type. Having used the same LLBean bookbag from middle school through college myself , I knew that this bag would be the only one sturdy enough to withstand him. After a year, this bag is still in great shape. It was dirty from him dragging it on the ground, but it cleaned up well. He'll be able to get at least 2 more years out of this bag, unless he does something to destroy it.
I also purchased this same bookbag for my niece (starting PreK), and my cousin (starting Kindergarten).
I am totally happy with the quality of the product. Very nice colors and stitching. But the size is very small. My daughter is 8 and it wouldn't fit her binder for school, that is the only reason why I had to return it. In my option this book bag is for pre-school age maybe Kindergarten age, not older than that.
What a great bag for our littlest students. Just big enough without being overwhelming - this backpack held up to all our 5-6 year old could do to it and it still looks great! Highly recommended...this pack was well loved and well used! So worth it!
I love this backpack. I got it in the lime and it held up incredibly well to my kindergartener. He is very ruff and tumble but the backpack still looked good at the end of the school year. It's the perfect size for small children. I would recommend this to anyone. I just purchased a new one for this school year, although I certainly could have used the one from last year, had I chose too.
