This was the best back pack for my childs kindergarten year. The zipper didnt break and the fabric didnt rip, like you would have from a store back pack. I highly recommend this back pack. We are going up a step to the original back pack.
My daughter is about to start kindergarten and she's been having such a hard time picking out a back pack! My mom suggested checking LL Bean to see if they carried any smaller size back packs since I always loved mine. I carried mine (original deluxe) from 10th grade through college and it's still in amazing shape. I showed her the options on the website and when she saw the pink one, she screamed "I WANT THAT ONE!" We ordered her the carnation pink Junior Back Pack and it came in the mail SO FAST. She's been refusing to take it off. I've read the carnation is a new color choice, and it was definitely the right one! The shade of pink is so perfect for a girly girl, and she can't wait to show it off to her friends at school! I feel like a supermom for ordering her a bag I know will last many years to come!
I bought a backpack from LL Bean last year for my daughter and it is in perfect condition after one year. All other backpacks start getting holes in the bottom. These backpacks are awesome!! The price is great too!!
I love that LLBean offers monogramming on backpacks. My son's name is now prominently displayed so I won't have to worry that he will be separated from his backpack for too long.
This as always is a well made bag and came in a color my son loves.
