I purchased the Jr Original Backpack and the top handle has came off. This was purchased for my kindergarten child whom only places one folder and a small library book in it daily. It hangs on a hook at school. I am very disappointed. I had my LL BEAN bag all through High school and college and just recently threw it away because I didn't know about the exchange policy when it fell apart. So, I hope we have her bookbag at least a year!
I bought this backpack for my 4 year old daughter when she started preschool. It a wonderful bag. It is bright and cheerful, sturdy, with lots of zippered compartments and plenty of room. The size is perfect for her. She loves it and I do too.
When my daughter started kindergarten she was excited to get a Backpack. She wanted something "cool". I wanted to get her something that would last more than one year of school. After reading the reviews we tried this one and LOVE it!! It is trendy looking and sturdy. The zippers are very sturdy and easy to open and close. There is a lot of storage space inside for books, jackets and lots of pockets. We plan to use it next year and when she needs a new one I will certainlly purchase another from L. L. Bean. Thanks!!
