My socks are "grabbed" by the leather as I try to slide my foot into the boot...makes for a a sock with the heel too high and the toes squeezed. I have used various types of "slick tape" down the inside back seam and still have the "grabbing" problem. But I really like them and find them very durable and warm.

Bought these boots as a Christmas gift for my son, when he put them on he said they were so comfortable he did not want to take them off. He liked the 10 inch boot better than the 8 inch he had before.
