Received boots quickly. Was concerned about the size as depending on the shoe or boot the size can be either a 12 or 13. I followed the sizing recommendations from the website and purchased size 12. They fit perfectly. Boots are very comfortable. There hasn't been any snowy, cold weather yet but I expect that these will be very good in inclimate weather. And the fact that they are made in America and not China is a big plus.

I REALLY LIKE THE LOOK AND FEEL OF THESE BOOTS. THEY ARE WELL MADE AND COMFORTABLE AS WELL AS DURABLE. THESE WOULD BE GOOD FOR ALMOST ANYONE. ALSO THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE.
I've lusted after a pair of "real" LLBean boots for decades. I was prompted by the holiday discount to spring for a pair. When they arrived I was dismayed to see that a heel flap inside the right boot was not glued down. I knew this would be a constant irritant and I was very dissappointed. I was going to fill out the standard form, but I saw that there was a # to call for faster service. They were incredibly nice, and immediately shipped out a new pair of boots, which I got in 4 days. I packed the original pair and returned them easily. So....the service was great. The boots....I wear a 9.5 or 10, and so ordered a 9. The fit is just right. The boots feel very comfortable. I cannot yet comment on durability, and I'm a little worried about the design of the inner flap that comes down near the achille's tendon. Based on other reviews, I hope these boots will last for decades. On the other hand, if they don't and the heel part becomes an issue, I feel confident that I can return them.
