I've had these boots for 1.5 years and worn them frequently in all seasons and weather. They're great whether conditions are wet or dry, hot or cold, and I love the aesthetic. Even though they are insulated, I've worn them in the summer, and they breathe well, though of course my feet got quite warm. They kept me toasty through the Minnesota cold and snow.
Only once or twice have I had water get in while walking through large puddles or small streams. The tread is weak, so not great for ice, but fine for walking on dry or wet ground. They fit pretty loosely both in length and width, which is great for thick socks, but I always tie them tightly. Because of the tight tying, the leather is now creased and crumpled, so leave them loose if you want to keep the leather smooth.
Overall, I love these boots dearly. They certainly would not be good for hiking or sporting (aside from hunting), but as a casual, everyday boot they're wonderful in all weather and great for working outside. I can't wait to keep tromping through the woods in my Beans!
