Chair fabric (paisley pattern) was vivid and looks very rich. Surprised at the comfort for such a "light" chair. Size fit perfectly in small office but affords us an additional bed.
Ottoman is easy to move about and extends the use of the chair.
Was thrilled with how light weight the chair was and can be easily moved by one person. Bought it for use in family room as chair and extra bed for visiting family. Kids fight over who gets to sleep on it. It may be firm for some, but my dogs and I love it so much I just bought the couch for the family playroom also.
Our down side is the mattress' odd size - fitted sheets don't work, so we have to use flat and then there's no place to tuck in where mattress connects to base of chair.
We bought this chair several years ago (the pattern we have is no longer available). It has had minimal use because it is very uncomfortable. One person slept on it, and she never stayed over with us again. I'm blaming the chairbed! It is unbearably hard -- not just "firm," but actually HARD, like wood. A cushy mattress pad only helps a little (a cushy mattress pad on wood would only help a little, too). Yes, it's super lightweight and easy to move around. But if it's not comfortable to sit or sleep on, what's the point? It IS comfortable in one position -- lying with your head on one arm and your legs draped over the other arm. But that's hardly a selling point! Furthermore, it's more oversized than it needs to be, given the lack of softening stuffing. If it were more compact (skinnier arms, for one thing), at least it would be convenient extra seating in a pinch. As is, it's about to go on Craig's List, because it's lightweight dead weight in the house. I'd consider a complete redesign or just discontinue it.
This chair is light and easy to care for, fits through a standard door opening, and has a durable and attractive fabric. On top of all that, it opens to a comfy bed! I highly recommend this chair!
