This is a great chair for lounging--I flop my legs over one arm and settle in to read a book in perfect comfort. Its classic styling fit with my antique furniture yet gives me the modern option of converting to a sleeper.
Bought two of these because my son has friends who crash at our house all the time. They are very easy to turn into beds and easy to make back up again. They are comfortable chairs as well. The light weight is great because I can easily move them myself.
We bought and returned this chair. It is light, but made almost entirely of dense foam. We felt that it was terrbily overpriced for what it is... a foam futon- type chair.
I bought this in red woodland print as a "chair and a half" - a small love seat as well as a guest sleeper. Fabric is even more attractive in person and it's bliss to move around. It's firm seating but comfortable. I suggest sleeping with your feet towards the chair since that section of the bed is a thin pad over the chair framework and pretty hard. My chief reservation is that the seat slips forward easily when you're sitting in this chair - fine as long as you're sitting in it, but you may need to shove it back in place to get adequate support the next time you sit down.
