My first experience with LL Bean was when I was dating my husband. He used a backpack and it was so impressive to me becuase of the quality; especially when I found out how long my husband had had it, 30+ years! It looked brand new. I couldn't believe that it was as old as it was and showing such great wear. I decided to buy our daugther her first back pack from LL Bean and we loved it's durability with a 3 1/2 year old with Autism. Anybody who has children should know that it is perfect as a gift too. So yes we would recommend the Original Book Pack to everybody!
This backpack replaces my first LL Bean one purchased about 25 years ago! The quality of the new one is just as good s the first one with a few extra features like extra pockets and cimfortable padded straps. How can they make any money when the backpack lasts so long? In 25 years, I'll definietly be back for my third one!
This was the second one I purchased. It's an attractive, durable pack that is avaialable in color options that will please most children. I started my first daughter with hers for kindergarten and it still looks great even though we're almost done with first grade. My newest purchase is for my second daughter who starts kinddergarten in September. The only thing that wasn't as exoected was the color -- it was a deeper pink than represented on the website. This was a pleasant surprise! I like the deeper pink better (and so does my futre kindergartener).
