this was a birthday gift for a friend of my sons. i bought it because we have the same one which i purchased 3 years ago and it looks brand new, despite a whole lot of abuse! zipper is easy to open- dosen't get "caught" on the material attached to it. perfect size for little ones, while still holding a lot of stuff.
I have had my original book pack since the third grade, and I am now a college freshman. It has held up through many books, slumber party clothes, and schoolwork. I would definitely suggest this to anyone, and I am considering buying another in the near future.
