I purchased one for my oldest son for first grade. He is now going into 4th grade and it still looks great. I have not washed it yet but after this school year I will only because of pencil marks inside the front pocket. It has held up great the past 3 years. I am now purchasing one for my younger son who will be starting first grade in September. I like not having to worry about buying a book pack every year for them. Daughter used it for kindergarten. After the whole year it still looks brand new! Excellent quality! She carried art supplies, library books and 3 ring binder in it.
We got a character backpack at a store for my son when he started preschool. It was falling apart before the year was up. We bought him this Book Pack when he started Kindergarten. He is now going into 5th grade using the same book pack. After 5 years it is still in great condition. Needs to be washed a couple times a year. Now buying this same book pack for my youngest who will be starting kindergarten in the fall. .
My daughter has two LLBean backpacks. She loves to alternate bags and have a variety. We've bought others and NONE stand up or compare to the quality of these backpacks. Others wear out and fall apart. Her "original book packs" look like the day they were new. Great quality and fun color and print selection!
