I bought 2 backpacks and couldn't be happier they look great and i know that they will last a long time as my first backpack lasted forever thanks l.l.bean for helping me continue my family tradition with my boys first backpacks. Chris
I bought two of these for my then 7yr old and 11 yr old boys at the beginning of the school year last year. This was the first year I never had to replace a backpack before the year was through. They've held up perfectly and are still good enough to use this year. Very strong and even though they make look a little small they can hold a lot. If your child is older and has to carry more than 4 textbooks at a time I would suggest going up a size. Perfect for grade school use! Also has plenty of pockets. They love the camo patterns too. Definately worth it!

I purchased this backpack for our son that is attending kindergarten...a bit worried that it would be too big, the size is PERFECT! The backpack is lightweight and can hold all of his papers, along with his L.L.Bean Flip-top lunch box! We are very happy with the monogramming, as well. You will be very happy with this purchase!!
