I love these backpacks but the pink color is lighter in real life than it appears on my screen. Even after being washed, it looks pretty dirty after a year of school and summer camp. i would prefer a darker girl color like purple. The pink one will get even more dirty over time. Ick.
I just saw your catalog quote,"A backpack that will last." When I saw that, I knew I had to tell you about my son's backpack . My mother bought an LLBean backpack for my son when he was in second grade. He has used it every school day since then. He carried it through elementary, middle school, high school, and will use it this year as he enters his second year of college. 13 years of school use!!!! During middle and high school, his lockers were not convenient to get to during the school day, so he carried his books, notebooks, and binders in the backpack. The backpack didn't rip, stretch, or ravel a seam even carrying these weighty loads. AMAZING! Of course, it not only got packed every day at school, but got taken on vacations, to church camps, overnights to grandparents and friends, and on school trips. To say that this backpack lasts and lasts and lasts is an understatement. I didn't think that companies made things to last like this backpack has lasted. WAY TO GO LL BEAN!!!
