My daughters will have nothing BUT L.L. Bean backpacks. Hey, they last for at least two full school years, pack great, and look great. What's not to love?
I ordered this for my 9 year old son after our dog chewed a hole in his old backpack. The new one arrived promptly and the mongrammed initials looked great. The bag holds a lot, and although I've had problems with LLBean zippers on parkas, the zipper on this works well. The material is not thick but seems durable. All in all, it's a good-looking and useful item, and I'm extremely happy with it.
I grew up using these same backpacks when I was younger. I still even have one from High School from 17 years ago that is in great shape. These backpacks are very sturdy, trendy and are very roomy. My son looks foreward to a new one about every 2 years and that is only for a color change. I just started my preschool daughter with the smaller pack and she loves it. I would highly recommend these backpacks. With a name like LL Bean you know you can trust 1st rate quality.
