My son is 3 and in preschool. We switched from the Jr. backpack to regular as it holds more including the LL Bean lunchpack he brings along with pull-ups, a change of clothes etc. I appreciate the extra room of this backpack, but miss the longer tassles on the Jr. Backapck which are so much easier to grab and assist in unzippering. Please put longer tassles on regular backapack!!! It's just so much easier to use.
My two oldest daughters have these backpacks. My oldest daughter has had hers for 2 years and it is still in excellent shape. The most recent purchase was for an upgrade to the larger backpack from the junior, for her younger sister. They are very durable, easy to keep clean and come in a great variety of colors and patterns.
I plan to purchase another one for my youngest daughter when she starts kindergarten in the fall!
I bought 3 book packs for my 3 daughters. One replaces a 1st grade book pack for her junior year of High School, one replaces her sisters 1st grade orange book pack (a color we have been waiting to come back arround) for her first year of college and one for my daughter who is a grad student and thought she would try a college pack. Our family loves LL Bean items they last for ever, Thanks for being there.
We bought this pack before school started and used it for 3 months. Then we noticed that the strap was tearing away from the pack. I contacted L.L. Bean & they quickly replaced it with a new one. Awesome service & the new one is holding up fine. My daughter loves this backpack! I love the fact that they really do honor their guarantee.
