More durable than most of the locally available. Right size. Great selection. Customized. This is the fourth bag we've bought from L.L. Bean and we've been satisfied with them all. BTW, none of the others are worn out.
We were buying a new backpack each year, and the one this year fell apart after 2 months. I had a LLBean backpack growing up and remembered how great it was. My 7 year old daughter picked the blue flower patch print and loves it! It matches her new LLBean lavender winter coat! They are so durable and the guarantee is unbeatable! I'll be getting my other children these next year, I know they will last!
This is a great backpack. It has endured several seasons of summer camps and fall camping trips, as well as 2 1/2 (and still going strong) school years. I only gave it 4 stars because it is missing one feature that would otherwise make it the perfect backpack and that is a water bottle/cup holder on the outside of the bag. Other than that, it's great and extrememly durable.
Great Backpack for my grand daughter. Beautifully embroidered name. Should carry her through grade school. Plenty of pockets for storing her essentials. Considering she's only in pre-school now.
