I just received the two backpacks I ordered for my granddaughters. They are to replace the ones purchased at the beginning of the school year, which have fallen apart despite their not so inexpensive price. The LLBean packs were similarly priced, but because of the excellent materials and construction, as well as the guarantee, I am sure these bags will far outlast any purchased before. I know this, because my daughter, the girls' mother, is still using an LLBean bag she used through high school, college, and the beginning of her teaching career. It has been used as a book pack, diaper bag, overnight bag, swimming pool tote bag, and more. It's still going strong, a little battered and worn, but functional today, 18 years later.
I have bought many backpacks for my 5 children and 4 grandchildren and they are all still being used. We had one that came apart but was replaced immediately without any hassle. I would recommend them to everyone.
My daughter had bean book packs in the 80's & 90's now I am buying them for my grandsons.the quality is still outstanding the sizes are appropiate for their age and size.These packs never wear out!!!
