The back pack was exactly what I expected. the Price was fair. Mongramming option was great because there are alot of these at school! My Son loves it, and I am pleased with the quality.
My mom gave me this backpack (or rather the version of it that was out 19 years ago!) when I was 8. It went with me to college and carried far more books than it probably should have! It's been around the world and back...and it's still my favorite backpack! No holes, no rips, still perfect. Don't waste your money on cheap backpacks from chain stores that will last one school year...buy one from L.L. Bean and it could last from Kindergarten through college...or even medical school...my brother's did! :-)
I bought this for my almost 5 year old for Pre-school this year instead of the JR one because I know it will last at least through K or 1st grade. Actually, I'm sure she'll want a new style before it wears out. It's very roomy - it fits her work, spare clothes and lunch box too - and has solid construction, of course.
