I love this hat!!! I got it in natural... it's soft and supple and light weight and oh so comfortable!! On top of all that, it's just adorable. I live in Georgia and will be wearing it to my granddaughter's softball game this weekend... just wish I'd found this wonderful hat at the beginning of the season.
The one thing I would have liked would have been a bit of elastic in the headband... it does run just a tad on the large size.

I am currently using this hat while in Aruba, and it provides great shade, and it is comfortable and cool too. It packs easily, because it can be flat in your bag, and it springs back into shape very easily.
I'm so glad I bought the hat. It's perfect. The brim can be folded down to give more shade, and it still looks fine. You can also fold down just the back and have it look fine. These options give the hat different looks. The brim is a good size, wide enough to offer shade but not huge or floppy. There is a terry cloth band along the inside that makes it very comfortable on my head. The thin leather cord works very well to keep the hat on in windy conditions, and it doesn't look dorky like some of the other hats I've seen with this feature.
I purchased both the blue and coral colors. I am very pleased with the quality of these hats. These hats definitely keep the sun out of your face since this summer has been extreme to say the least. For fun, I placed a matching scarf from my personal collection around each hat and receive compliments every day I wear a hat out. People who complimented me were floored that these nice hats came from LLBean.
