I love the style of the hat and it was easy to pack. I bought it for our trip to Maui to have as much sun protection as possible. Unfortunately, one of the grommets came out the first day I wore it. The raffia around the hole began to unravel. The leather cords needed to be adjusted often.
I bought this hat for a cruise and it was great. It kept the sun off my face and the brim could be turned down to increase the shading for reading. Only problem was with the strap. It kept coming off and had to be readjusted frequently. Super to pack - I just put it into my luggage and it popped back into shape as soon as it was unpacked.
This hat looks good but it gave off such a stench that there was no way I could wear it. It smelled like toxic chemicals. I returned it immediately for a refund.
We belong to car clubs and take alot of drives. We plan a very long 5 day ride to northern California and this hat will be perfect for August. Love the look and feel of it.
