This hat was a "God send" at my daughters horse show where the temp was in the high 90s for the 3 days I was there. It was the only shade near the rings and I had it on the whole time I was outside. This hat did not feel as if it was increasing the heat on my head as many hats do, the weave was open enough to allow for air movement.
I really like my new straw hat because it actually fits on my big head. I have been trying on hats for years & this is the 1st that fits. There is nothing worse than being in the hot sun with a hat band crushing your skull & making you even hotter. The hat is also good looking.
