Nothing beats this hat! We traveled in the Southeast this summer and it was great. Many people yelled out "love your hat," "that is what I need today," or "where did you get it?" We shouted out " L.. L. BEAN." I showed my dermatologist and she just loved the funky hat! No worries about crushing the hat. It did fade on the top because we were out in the sun all day for 3 whole weeks. So I am now ordering another one for a spare.
I bought this hat because other reviewers said it was very large, but it was still too small for my big head. Otherwise it looks nice and I'm sure the average person could wear it, but not me.
great Hat love the brim because it is not large . But large enough to keep the sun out of my eyes. Also does not hit the back of my neck when waring it . The fit is also perfect for my head. Not tight at all.
