As others mentioned, this hat runs a little large. However, I liked it so much that I solved the problem by using crochet cotton, making two strips which I sewed under the band. Worked great!!
Bought all three colors--needed to insert a sizing band (easy to find online) so it would sit higher on my tiny head. Great golf hat....please make it in black. Wear it with the chin strap tucked inside for golf--wear the chin strap under my chin on a windy day at the beach. thank you llbean for the great hat wardrobe...
I have struggled to find a packable hat that is big enough for my large head. This one does fit without squeezing my head and causing a headache, so I am keeping it. However, it is not particularly stylish, but I need a hat for our upcoming trip to Hawaii. I like that it has the strap under the neck so you won't lose it in the wind. It does not fold up as small as other hats I looked at. Unfortunately those were too small for my head. Overall, just okay, and I would recommend for someone with a large head. If you have a smaller head, you can do better elsewhere.

I purchased this hat last year before going to the beach for a couple of months. The one I bought last year is the blue. The blue one faded; however, I like the look and new color.
The natural was sold out last year when I placed my order so this year I ordered earlier and now I have two!!!!!!
These are great for working in my yard, hiking, walking the beach and/or just sitting on the deck..
