I packed this hat into a suitcase, had it in and out over several days and it performed beautifully. It does run a bit large, but has a wide brim which provides very good shade coverage. It is nice looking as well.
This hat was one of the best I have ever bought! It travels well. Just throw it in a pocket of your suitcase, smash it down into a purse, or flatten it and put it under all your other packed items. Once you get where your going, it comes back to life and true to its former shape. It provides great sun protection and the cord comes in handy when the wind picks up. I've taken my hat everywhere for many trips and it still looks like the day I first got it.
