Had no choice due to packing space but to flatten my lovely new hat into my suitcase and hope for the best. When I arrived in St. Thomas I nervously opened my bag only to find the hat popped back to life like new. A hat miracle! It was a cute hat and protected my little head perfectly from the sun. A marvelous product!
Took this hat with me on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera. First time I wore it the strings around the top became tangled and were hard to straighten out. Within a few minutes they had worked the grommet on one side loose and it came completely off. Once it was gone the raffia began to unravel. I would not replace this hat with another one just like it.
I have ordered this hat four at a time; it is perfect for daily wear; I use it for playing tennis; it conforms to the head and fits extremely well; doesn't blow off..I have tried other hats but haven't found one that fits and wears as well; was carried by llbean as "honeymoon hat" in the past
I purchased this hat to bring on a cruise and it came in very handy. Since it was windy on the ship, the tie made it easy to keep it on my head! It blocked the sun, packed nicely and looks nice.
