I bought this new mini waffle shirt because I had bought the vactionland waffle shirts in the past and liked them. Since they are no longer available I am assuming that this shirt is what is replacing them. Unfortunately this shirt is not nearly as good as the other ones; the cotton is thinner, stiffer and feels more like a cotton/poly blend (it's not, it just feels like it is). The fit is almost the same except the sleeves are a little bit shorter and the length of the body of the shirt is longer. Its perfectly OK to wear underneath another shirt, except its not as comfortable as the Vactionland shirt, but because the fit is off a little bit I can't wear it by itself.
I'm not a fan of waffle shirts, but my father-in-law had this on his list and thus I got him one. I feared it might look shlumpy but really it holds its shape well and is a nice casual very comfortable shirt.
One of my husbands biggest complaints is that other brand waffle shirts shrink up past his navel and get miss-shapen after one wash. These are great! Roomy, and do not shrink. True to size. He really likes them
