The material is soft and thick. The shirt is well cut, thankfully without six yards of material around the waist (for medium). Best for me: the wrist cuffs are neither loose nor tight, but just right. I have never understood why some clothing manufacturers and clothing consumers think that it's really wonderful to have clothes that are so elasticized around wrists, neck, waist, and ankles that they leave marks on your skin. My thanks to Bean's for thinking differently.
This shirt is very well made and the quality of the material is great. I bought this shirt for both of my sons, and they have worn them for 2 years. They still look like new even after washing them over and over. I ordered more this year for Christmas.
