The only review I've ever written where the "new" product is actually better than the one I'm replacing. Very happy about that, but disappointed it's not offered in heather grey and black.
I bought this henley tee in blue. The color is beautiful; not a navy blue, but not a light blue either. Fits well. Washes and dries beautifully. No shrinking, no fading.
I bought 2 LL Bean Waffle Knit Shirts about 5 years ago and they are still looking good.
Since these were holding up so well, I decided to order a couple of more in a different color.
The difference in quality after washing of the new vs. old shirts is very disappointing. The new shirts after a few washing are starting to fuzz and look worn. It is really shocking to put the 5 year old shirts next to these and see the difference as the 5 year old shirts look a lot better.
So, we won't be buying any more of these shirts. It's a shame since I really love LL Bean products.
