I bought this shirt for my husband for our anniversary in November. When he opened it the first words out of his mouth were...Now this is the kind of shirt that I like! It looks good on him, the color looks expensive and it appears to be very well made. He likes it so much that I ordered another color for Christmas. I've recieved it and the green color is every bit as good as the burgundy color. I know I will get him some more of the colors in months to come.
A while back I had a sweatshirt made with a stiff, tightly-woven cotton cloth material that I just loved. Apparently they're not being made anymore and I've been trying to duplicate it ever since. This is almost there, but not quite. The waffle knit feels good on the skin and is not clingy, very comfortable. However, once I washed and dried it (on warm against instructions) I found it did shrink a lot and is now tight on me. It felt better before the wash. All in all a nice shirt.
I have always had the Bean Henley shirts, but the mini-waffle knit is new to me. It is a very good shirt, very warm, very comfortable, and I am very pleased.
Comfort and warmth are what attracts my husband to this shirt. For Christmas this year he asked for more colors. You bet I ordered them. The waffle weave helps to make the shirt not too hot in the house and comfy outdoors. No ribbing at the bottom is the other item he likes, since it can be tucked into pants or not.
