The mini waffle knit Henley is a well made light knit shirt. It turned out to be slightly heavier than I anticipated, having worn other lighter Henleys from LL Bean. This is a great shirt for cool weather, but I probably won't wear it much when the Florida heat kicks in -- that's kewl --it'll last for decades like all of my LL Bean stuff.
My husband loved this shirt in mariner blue, so I also got him a red one. He has had other waffle henleys that were cheaper and as a result cheaply made, but he only wants LL Bean ones from now on. The size is accurate and it isn't too long, which is sometimes a problem with the current styles, even though my husband is 6 feet tall. It also washes beautifully time and time again.
My husband loves these shirts. The quality of the fabric is excellent, soft on the skin yet with good body. The construction is also excellent. The fit is perfect. I've never seen any other shirt of this style that comes close to LL Bean's, and I won't buy anything else.
I have never been so pleased with the service of any other company. The items of clothing I bought were outstanding in quality and good looks, and I only ordered them the Sunday before Christmas and received them on Christmas Eve, just as your salesperson promised. Thank you so very much.
