This sweatshirt is softer and slightly heavier than Nike / Champions. The inside of the grey shirt is white fleece and, as other reviewers have pointed out, this garment sheds a lot of lint when washed and dried. You should be prepared to launder it 2-3 times by itself so the pills do not cling to your other items. Even by itself, there will be quite a mess. Lots of clean up is required and a lint brush is a necessity. A darker color may be better.
I bought this sweatshirt for my daughter, who wanted a "comfy" sweatshirt. The neck is not too tight, it's roomy, and doesn't have a logo. Great for the evening or weekend after dressing up for work.
