The sweater itself is of very good quality. It's warm and washes well with minimal shrinkage when placed in the dryer. My only grievance with the sweater is that the sleeves are very wide at the top and tapers a lot towards the wrist. If you're looking for a modern fit go with the signature version. LL bean needs to provide an updated fit for this sweater in a comparable price range not 20 dollars more for the same thing.
These are awful. I purchased two of them for my husand for a Christmas gift, and sent them back the same day. The quality is poor, but mostly they're just plain huge and sloppy looking. The waist band isn't snug like a sweatshirt should be, so when wearing it, it would just hang. A very unattractive look on anyone, especially a man. I don't usually shop at LL bean anyway, but this just reinforces why.
