Even though I followed the washing instructions precisely, I found that this sweatshirt shrank a full size and shed clouds of lint. If it weren't for the lint, I'd happily just order the next size up.
This is a great sweatshirt, but it would be fantabulous if the knitted ribbing , expecially in the back, was tighter. It needs to fit more snug around the waist.
I gave this item a 4 instead of a 5 because it is not the same sweatshirt I purchased from LLBean over 15 years ago and I'm still wearing them today with little noticeable wear and tear. The inside material of this sweatshirt is very linty even after washing. I'm going to keep the one I ordered hoping the lint problem will eventually go away. This sweatshirt is very warm and roomy. I usually wear an XLarge but ordered a large and It fits perfect with a little room for shrinkage. My favorite colors are greens and browns so I wish there was a bigger color selection.
