I have purchased several Athletic Crewneck Sweats and am pleased with how heavy they are compared to competitors for the same price. We have purchased others, only to return them as they were very thin. I would recommend this item.
I just received my new, traditional fit crew neck. When I tried it on right out of the packaging, it must have been 2 1/2 sizes too large. I ordered a Small and it fit like a Large. Too long and full in the body and too long and full in the sleeves. I then washed it according to directions and my gosh did it shrink! It's now "ok" in the body length, the sleeves are about right, but the body and sleeves are still a little fuller than I like. Beside the above, I was shocked at how much lint was left in the drier filter, and how less substantial this sweatshirt feels when compared with the three older ones I still wear. Even the seams look less well finished than my older ones. I would hesitate to buy another one.
I got this sweatshirt for my husband and he really likes it. He wears a medium-tall and this sweatshirt fits perfectly. He also likes the fact that it is a substantial, not thin like some brands.
