Ordered a small in the sycamore color. I'm on the shorter side, so the fit is good. Very durable, as I bought some in the past. I think they improved the collar, I'll know as it breaks in. The old ones developed that "bacon" look around the collar.
This sweatshirt is fantastic, substantial weight and quality, Shipping was fast and the order process was very easy. I now know what all the "hub bub" is about L.L.Bean. Will order again!!!
Once the temperature begins to drop, I practically live in my LL Bean sweatshirts. These are classic in style, very comfortable, and 91% cotton. Dark colors should be washed separately, perhaps a couple of times, after that you can wash them with your other laundry. I haven't noticed any shrinkage. If you like sweatshirts for workouts or casual wear or whatever, these will last you much longer than thiner, cheaper sweatshirts. If they didn't add a little bulk, I'd be temped to wear them with a suit. I currently own and wear 4 in different colors.
