I've purchased quite a few articles of clothing from L.L. Bean in the past with good results and was very surprised with the shrinkage of this sweatshirt after the first washing. Too bad because the quality and feel is, otherwise, very nice.
This has got to be the perfect sweatshirt! Exceptionally made and very durable. A little heavier than the average sweatshirt, but breathable and extremely comfortable. It also runs larger compared to other sweatshirts, making it a touch loose, but not sloppy.
These sweats (at least the fabric in XXL) shrunk 4 inches in length and sleeves in the first wash. I love the feel of the material but was shorter even before I put them in the dryer.
