I buy these x-large Tall even though I wear a large. They have been my go to winter shirt for 7-8 years, buying about 4-6 per year. Unfortunately they now shrink to being uncomfortable even when buying huge. The arms get amazingly shorter so much so that the neck doesn't fit right and they quickly become the most ill-fitting shirt you will ever own after 1-2 washes. My old, worn ones still fit better after years of washing.
I'm a long term LLB customer but reluctantly can't recommend this item. Shrinkage is excessive. I order a "tall" to compensate but even that wasn't enough to prevent the sleeves from becoming too short. LLB is great about returns but personally I'd prefer to avoid products that I know will have to be returned and this is one such product. I'd prefer LLB charge more and use a better quality fabric.
I've had several of these over the years and, while they are comfortable, I finally had to admit they simply do not fit properly after washing several times. I am definitely a medium and these shirts shrink enough that the sleeves and body are too short. I know if I buy a large it will much too big through the torso even after it shrinks.
