My husband loves the warmth of turtlenecks, but does not like the extra bulkiness around his neck. The LL Bean mock-turtleneck is perfect for him. It looks good and is very soft. He just loves it and has worn it numerous times. And I loved buying him a gift that he so much appreciated.

I've ordered at least twenty mock turtlenecks over the past 3 years. Variances in shirt quality (soft, weight of fabric) seems to align with color choices. Only negative issues noted are the ends of the sleeves fray.
However, I still believe the shirt to be a good value for the price.
