These are nice shirts, they're soft and comfortable and the neck doesn't bind. They do shrink up, however, and a tall size is recommended regardless of whether the wearer ordinarily takes a tall. I bought several and have been disappointed in that the shirts keep popping out of my slacks.
Unfortunately, while Bean is advertising a sale, most of the colors appear to be unavailable on 3/24/13.
I have not had this particular shirt from LLBean prior to this order. My other source had discontinued them. So I figured I would give these a try. I normally wear a Large Tall, too short in the sleeves and even worse after the first washing in COLD water. Reordered in XL tall, sleeves are the same length and shrunk. Not the quality I expected from LLBean.
While the quality seems nice, I had to return the two I purchased recently. After washing in warm (not hot!) water twice, the shirts shrank one and a half inches in length and about the same in the sleeves. My husband can't wear them now because they pull out when he bends over. On the same order, I purchased two crew neck T shirts about the same price which have not shrunk at all. They are keepers.
