Very uncomfortable . The labels on the inside body are almost painful. The printed label back of neck breaks down to aa grit like texture after washing. Bad product. Have a scientist sort out your labels.
Catalog says regular and nothing about trim fit......when shirt arrived tag says Trim Fit, L Reg. Sleeves are shorter compared to a similar shirt bought at the same time.

Unfortunately, our vendor made an error when labeling this item. This has been addressed and should not affect future production. The shirt is actually a Traditional fit, not a Trim fit as indicated on the label.

I've bought LL Bean turtlenecks on two seperate occasions over two years. In total, I've bought about eight of them. The first couple of wears, they're great. After that, the color fades, the neck loses its ability to stand up, they get a worn out appearance, and they shrink. The shrinking occurs not in the body so much but in the arms. I mean they're about an inch shorter then when I first wore them. I figure I'll try some other brands and see what happens. Dissapointed.

Though our care instructions on our website do state “machine wash and dry”, we recommend more specific washing instructions, “machine wash in cold water, tumble dry low, remove promptly”. We will update the instructions on llbean.com to be clearer and more visible to help customers avoid shrinkage.
