This robe is soooo snuggly. I finally replaced an old fleece robe and there is no comparison to the quality of this robe. I especially like the button over collar for those cold mornings. The ankle length is perfect for my 5'8" height, and makes it perfect for warmth. I wish the sleeves were just a bit narrower at the wrist end. Otherwise, it is perfect!!
I have looked for 4 years to find the perfect fleece robe (my sister told me she's never known anybody that has put in so much effort to find a robe). This is what I looked for in a robe: length to the ankles (very rare to find this!), strong durable fabric, two pockets, long sleeve length, no shrinkage, and a good fit. Based on excellent reviews on the LL Bean website, I finally found the perfect robe. It does run very big, however. I am 5'5 tall, waist is 31 inches and I needed to return a large, then a medium for a small. I never wear a small! I got the red color and it's a beautiful bluish-red color. It's warm, soft, length is to my ankles and the sleeve length is generous! I will purchase additional robes for family and friends. It would be great to have other color options: dark purple, fushia, turquoise, blue/grey, orange, other shades of green and pink. FInally, I want to mention the customer service at LL Bean has always been outstanding. Every time I call, the representative is pleasant and helpful in answering my questions or resolving an issue. Thank you LL Bean!
This robe is nice and warm. The fabric is soft and snuggly. It doesn't have to be dry-cleaned, just clothes washed and dried. On a cold wintry day, we can put the robe on right out of the dryer while it's still a little warm.
This robe has paid for itself in savings on my electric bill. I am always cold, and this robe has allowed me to keep from cranking up the heat on cold nights. It is super soft, and incredibly cozy and warm. My cat loves it too. When he sees me put it on he comes running and burrows in for a warm nap!
