I bought this for my wife, who was using mine. However, she didn't want to give up the one she was wearing so I tried it on and was very happy with it. I'm 6 ft 1 in about 180 lbs and the Misses Large is a bit big on me but comfortable. It also goes down to about mid shin so is pretty long.
Good Aspects: - very warm - soft and comfortable - length a plus
Not so good, but really just nitpicking: - sash made of same material as robe and is a bit stretchy to use as a sash. Would be better to have something more firm as a sash. - length is long and you need to be careful going up steps because you'll trip over the bottoms.
I love how comfy my new robe is. The hunter green was not my first choice and I'm not crazy about the color. It's kinda grayish and dark, but the red was gone. The length is a wee bit long, but it does not touch the floor and so I am keeping the robe. It's very warm and the fit is good. I like how you can roll the cuff of the sleeve down to make it cover your hands if they are cold. It feels so good when I put it on and I am quite happy with it. I think you will be very satisfied should you purhase it. We buy lots of wonderful stuff from LLBean. They are just a terrific company to deal with!!!
I am 5'10" tall and wanted a robe that is almost floor length. I searched forever trying to find one that was long enough - I received this robe recently and it is PERFECT! The material is soft and warm, and it is very long. It is the best robe I've had in years.
I love to throw a rob on after the shower, and this is not the robe for this. It is super warm, nice length, and I love the dark colors they offer. But this is not a great after the shower robe that I was looking for. Returning and looking for something better .
