HAVE HAD SLIPPERS FROM L. L. BEAN BEFORE THAT JUST GOT OLD AND WORN OUT. GOT LESS EXPENSIVE SLIPPERS LOCALLY. WORE OUT AND STRETCHED OUT QUICKER THAN THE L. L. BEAN SLIPPERS. BACK TO "QUALITY".
I purchased a pair for my 13YO son; he wears them constantly. They were his second skin all winter long. We love the fact that he can use them indoors and outdoors, so it's not a major event of changing shoes just to run outside to grab a few logs for the fireplace. We love the look, they stay on his feet and keep them toasty warm. Unfortunately, the stitching around the rubber soles came undone, so we replaced them- twice in the same year! In spite of that, I purchased the same style mocs for my husband. Granted he does not wear them as often as my son, but they do not seem to exhibit the same stitching issues as my son's mocs. If the stitching on the mocs is improved, they will be perfect. Great that LLB has an honorable satisfaction policy, but I would rather not use it and just enjoy a great product.
These mocs have changed my mind about wearing slippers; something I always hated to do. My feet are never cold and no longer get dry and cracked in the winter. Love 'em!!
My elderly father wears these just about all the time. He finds them comfortable, long lasting and warm throughout our long winter here in Northern NY. Wonderful product for him.
