ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
My husband really likes these boots! This is his 3rd pair of these! They are his houseshoes, even though he wears them outside sometimes. They outlast any houseshoe he has had in the past, and are very comfortable.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, performing better then expected.
I have had two pair of these over the years and I wear them everyday. I do not just wear them around the house but outside as well. I love them so much that I have actually gotten in the car to go someplace and my wife will say are you going in your slippers. I am about to order another pair.
ProsComfortable, of lesser quality (materials) than older versions
I bought a pair of the Wicked Good Moc Boots for myself and my son about 5 years ago. I also bought at the same time a pair of the Wicked Good Slippers for myself, and literally lived in those! (I now need a new pair since I've worn those where I shouldn't have for years since they have only a soft leather sole.) My brother visited from the east coast Christmas of 2008. He had no slippers, I had basically never worn my then 3-year old Moc Boots, so I gave then to him (same size feet). He loved/loves them. Since my Wicked Good Slippers are now falling apart (my fault), I decided to order another pair of Wicked Good Moc Boots for myself...and actually wear them this time! :-) They arrived...and I was disappointed. I compared their brand new quality to the quality of my son's 5-year old (and heavily worn) Wicked Good Moc Boots. The leather on his Moc Boots is most definitely thicker, and, amazingly, even after compression after years of use, the shearling lining of his 5-year old Moc Boots is actually thicker than the shearling lining on my brand new ones! I have not worn them because, disappointed as I was with the apparent (in my opinion) decrease in quality of materials (construction is still excellent) I was going to return them at my own expense. I decided, however, that I'm not going to find anything anywhere else that I'll like better, so I'll give these a try... At $49.95 with decreased quality of materials, I can't at the present time recommend these to anyone. They don't cost a fortune, but they still cost $50.00 for slippers! If my opinion changes, I'll update my review. I do hope that I like these enough to not have to return them. We'll see. Oh, yes...important. Should you choose to order, order the next size up even if your present size is a full size versus a half size. In VERY well made shoes, my size is 8 1/2 C. In well made and/or "regular" shoes, my size is 9 Medium. In L.L.Bean Moc Boots, Slippers, whatever, anything under a size 10 is too tight for me both length-wise and width-wise.
